The first annual Craft Lake City Festival will take place on Saturday August 8, 2009 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. at the The Gallivan Center in downtown Salt Lake City. This event will be FREE and open to the public.

Running in Circles Tablerunner/Centerpiece By Shelley Sidle Use ‘H’ hook, a tapestry needle to join circles, and worsted (4) yarn- like superwash wool or Caron Simply Soft in whatever colors you choose- you could mix colors, or do it all in one color or whatever, be creative! Cool Yarn Bombs stolen

In Baltimore, near their convention center entrance, yarn bombers put up these really beautiful peacock and spider-web-looking yarn covers, and half of them were stolen. How sad for the people who put hours of crocheting into them! But thankfully they captured it on camera, and hopefully lots of people got to check 'em out before someone made off with them.
