Make about 1 Extra-large circle, and 8 each of Large, Medium and Small circles Small circle- Round 1: Ch 2, and sc 8 times into the 2nd ch from hk. Join to 1st sc with sl st. Round 2: Ch 3, dc in 1st sc, 2 dc in each sc, sl st w/ 3rd ch. Fasten off, weave in ends. Medium circle- Round 1: Ch 2, and sc 8 times into the 2nd ch from hk. Join to 1st sc with sl st. I've finished my free-form crochet table runner, or centerpiece. It's a gift for a friend, but I'm liking it so much that I'll probably do another couple and will write out a pattern for it too at some point. I want one in black and white, purple and olive, and red, black and white. This would be a great rug if you did it with wool in dark colors, or felted. So many possibilities....
